Observation

(3,a) There was an exposed screw on the wooden boat on the play yard and asst. director was made aware of it immediately to correct. (2a, 3,f,g) In the large room between todder and infant rooms, there are two noticeable ceiling tiles that have issues. One is a missing tile and another one is damaged/cracked on one large section of the corner. It appears brittle, cracked and not cohesive, and could fall on children which is a health and safety hazard with the weight and also a potential ingestion hazard. Because there is no ceiling tile also, this could result in other unknown hazards falling from the ceiling between this level and the roof. These are also potential hazards for water leaking from the roof or ceiling and can cause health and safety hazards if not remedied.
